- Appointments for home smoke detector/carbon monoxide alarm inspections (MGL CH 148 S26f & S26½ f) are held on weekdays
from 10:a.m. - 12:p.m..
- Someone MUST be present at the time of inspection. No inspections will be conducted without the homeowner
or their representative.
- In order to make an appointment for a home smoke detector/carbon monoxide alarm inspection, you can either come to the fire
station or call the business telephone line (508) 695-5252.
- The fee for smoke detector/carbon monoxide alarm inspections is listed in the fee schedule.
- Inspections are NOT done the same day an appointment is made. Please be sure to allow enough time to get an appointment prior to
your closing date.
- In the event your smoke detectors or carbon monoxide alarms fail inspection, you must go through the entire process
again.
- Smoke Detector / Carbon Monoxide Alarm Certificates are good for 90 days.
