MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Outreach Foundation, Inc. is to enhance and expand support services, information and training for those affected by the tragedy of sudden infant death syndrome.
The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Outreach Foundation, Inc, is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation.

S.I.D.S.
- is the major cause of death in babies from 1 month to
1 year of age--and most SIDS deaths occur
when a baby is between 2 and 4 months old.
- is sudden and silent.
- is a death that occurs quickly, usually while the baby is asleep.
- is determined only after a complete autopsy,an examination of the death scene and review of the
infant's medical history.
- is not contagious, child abuse or caused by suffocation.
- is not hereditary.
